In this study, various natural disaster risk analyses for the Kemaliye (Erzincan) district were examined under various headings using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and the analysis outputs constituted the findings of the study. Within the scope of the study, the conceptual and theoretical frameworks related to disaster, hazard, risk, and disaster planning were compared with practices from around the world and in Türkiye, and the concepts were supported by literature. The physical and human characteristics of the research area were thoroughly examined, and recommendations for measures to be taken in line with disaster risk analyses were presented. All maps and analyses prepared within the scope of this thesis were conducted using ArcGIS 10.8.2. The disaster risk analyses for the Kemaliye district, prepared in this program, were supplemented with commentary, and the district's natural disaster risk potential was determined. The resulting maps were supplemented with field studies.
