Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out in Kecioren district in Ankara Province. The aim of this study is to create microzonation maps of Kecioren district from field survey reports as a result of Earthquake risk zone. These maps were undertaken to investigate all of soil parameters and soil classification of Keçiören district and to clarify the other studies in future. For this aim 185 drilling data were examined and microzonation maps of study area conducted by using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and were interpreted. After all processes we obtained results explained below respectively,Study area developed on Miocene age Mamak formation (aglomera, tufa, andesit, basalt with lava composits). From this formation we estimated that study area formed by volcanic rocks. After interrogation, it is clear that study area in Kecioren District is suitable for good engineered settlement. According to the 1 kg/m2 bearing capacity value areas it is thought that 1, 5-2 meter depth layers are covered by alluvial. Base on this result the other region of the study area which has more bearing capacity values it is seen that the property of the soil is stiff.Key Words: Microzonation, North Anatolian Fault Zone (NAFZ), Cross-examination, Bearing Capacity
