Abstract (EN)
Turkey has a rich structure in terms of geographically signalled products. When the number of registrations of these products is examined, a wide variety is encountered. Especially in some regions, an increase in these figures occurs. Ankara region is also among these. Ankara has a very rich product range in terms of geographically marked products. Most of these products are also registered. The products of Ankara province have an economic value and have a wide range that affects the city and regional economy. The selection of geographically marked products in Ankara is related to the richness of the region in this field. Most of the products registered in Ankara are products with domestic and international trade volume. Within the scope of the study, the TR51 statistical region covering the urban centre of Ankara and the administrative boundaries of Ankara province is considered. The importance of the prominent geographically marked products of the region in terms of regional and urban economy has been evaluated.
