Karacabey Agriculture Establishment with its geographical aspects

Agricultural activities, in which the relationship between human and space is very intense, is in the field of study of the science of geography. This study is made by adhering to this science's basic principles. This study's purpose is searching natural and human effects to agricultural activities in Karacabey Agriculture Establishment and present establishment's potential's contribution to region and our country. This thesis study is made by qualitative and quantitative data because of that this is a mixed pattern study. With this research it is aimed to present that Karacabey Agriculture Establishment's foundation, production activities and contribution to region and our country's agriculture. In this study topic's literature is reviewed. Geographic Information System (GIS) data are scanned, in different times field researches are made and meetings are done with certain attendance. The obtained data's content are analyzed and it is visualized with graphics and maps. Karacabey Agriculture Establishment is an establishment that states found to organise agricultural activities. Karacabey Agriculture Establishment's history depends on Ottoman Empire's early times. Establishment has made great serves on our country's agriculture and husbandry. It is found in Karacabey Plain's south area where has productive agricultural lands, advantageous climate conditions. With its water resources it has convenient natural environmental conditions for agricultural activities. Establishment's environment is one of the most important agricultural population in our country, Karacabey Agriculture Establishment was more of a breeding animal place but nowadays it contributes to our country's seed wheat and corn production.
