Özet (EN)

The research was done for determining the appliability of multiple intelligence theory suggested by Gardner on geography education and aiming to show the effect of this theory to the students? attitude and behaviors which inclined Geography lesson for developing in positive way. Research was done with experimental characteristic for showing the effect of multiple intelligence theory in geography education. Experimental research was constituted from one experiment group and one control group with the level of 9th class of secondary school situated in the centre of Ankara. In order to apply the research reliable, course teacher, students and counseller were informed about multiple intelligence theory. ?Out side Forces? subject was taught for 4 weeks according to the curriculum which was formed for the experiment group decorated with audio-visual tools and activities suiting their intelligence area. Isochronic with experiment group, control group was taught ?Out Side Forces? subject by their teacher with the method of question- answer. Before and after application, achievement test and attitude measuring were applied as pre- test and last test to experiment and control groups. At the end of the research, a sensible difference was determined in the favour of experiment group about the subject of ?Out Side Forces? in 9th classes with the results of achievement test and attitude measure.
