Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the response of steel structures subjected to earthquake forceswas investigated according to Turkish Seismic Design Code 2007. Earthquake forceswere calculated by using ?Equivalent Earthquake Load Method? procedure. Thedesign conditions resisting earthquake forces was analyzed though different buildingmodels. SAP2000 structural analysis program based on finite elements method wasused for the desin and analysis of the structures. The rusults obtained from thecalculations for different three dimensional models have been compared with eachother.
