Abstract (EN)

What is related to art has always been interesting and thought-provoking. Research carried out in this regard is effective in the development and application of the author's artistic thinking practices. The periods in which realistic paintings, drawings, and similar works were perceived as those painted or drawn in a familiar style and according to a familiar correlation system were examined. The liberation of the artist, which corresponds to the effect of reason lasting throughout the enlightenment period and its effect on creativity was discussed. The progress in which intuition and expressionism were dealt with together, the artist determined his/her own subject, and it was argued that art existed as a tool for the expression of ideas was addressed. Production with the subject, the emotional dimension of the material, the appeal of abstraction, and sometimes the desire to eliminate all these was emphasized. The continuity of the progress and artistic reactions shown to the conflict between what is brought about by individualization and what is social and related developments were handled. The journey of all these narratives towards the present day was analyzed in terms of its effect on "multi-layered expressionist painting as a documentary of the artist. By examining the contribution of the author's past experiences to his/her artistic expression process, how image, vision, and techniques were brought together by change or repetition was explained over such concepts as time layered on the surface of the painting, movement, line, and transparency. The methods used in the formation of layers and the journey of the production process between past and present constitute the argument of multi-layered expressionist painting as a documentation of the artist.
