Abstract (EN)

The subject of the study is the importance of digitalization in logistics and therefore determining the most rational strategy to be followed by businesses in this process. Digital systems, where all logistics stages work in an integrated manner, are very costly systems. The study aims to help a small and medium-sized enterprise to use its resources efficiently by saving both time and cost by choosing the most rational way to digitalize. In this way, it will use its resources efficiently and protect its financial situation and can both stay in a competitive environment and get ahead of its competitors with this step. The aim of the study is to create a practical model that will help to develop digitalization strategies with an analytical approach for businesses that want to digitalize in order to be more effective in transportation, increase transportation speed, increase transportation efficiency and be more effective in all other logistics processes in the logistics sector.The unique value of the study is that there is no other study on the application of logistics 4.0, which has been selected as the subject of the study, and AHP and TOPSIS methods, which are multi-criteria decision-making methods, and Fuzzy AHP and Fuzzy TOPSIS methods, which are fuzzy set extensions of these analyzes, together and creating a strategy for businesses that will start digitalization in logistics. Bartın province was determined as a limitation in the study. One of the largest enterprises in Bartın province, Mescier Demir Çelik San. And Tic. A.Ş., which is one of the largest enterprises in Bartın province, was selected and research was conducted within this boundary.The scientific methods chosen to be used in the study are Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP, Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) and Fuzzy AHP and Fuzzy TOPSIS, which are fuzzy set extensions of these analyzes. Of these types of analysis, AHP and TOPSIS were analyzed first and then Fuzzy AHP and Fuzzy TOPSIS were analyzed to obtain a more detailed result and the results were compared.
