Turkish press in passing to much party time, (1945-1950 Vatan Newspaper example)

Development of democracy of Turkish political life has started in XIX. Century. Constitutional movements which have started with signature of ?Sened-i İttifak? in Padishah II. Mahmut?s time has continued with administrative and improment reforms. For the first time, Ottoman people affect the country government in the first constitutional monarchy at 1876. After the first constitutional monarchy time, pressure time was started and antidemocratic applications were seen. After second constitutional monarchy in ?Kanun-i Esasi? which is the first constitution of Ottoman was changed for democracy.After the first world war in national contention spite of some unusual conditions it was given important democratic applications and firstly selection the members of Turkey. After Lozan peace agreement, the first political party ?nation division? opened in 9 September 1923 and it was an important step for democracy. It was tried to have much political parties with ?Terakkiperver Republic Division? that open in 1925 and is the first opposition political party but after rebellion of Şeyh Said with the close of this party and this experiment was unsuccessful. Much political party term is again tried to be started with ?Free Republic Division? in 1930. However, people who are opposite of new system of government were collected around this party and the party abrogate it by it-self so it did not tried again to have much political parties term until 1946.In 1940s the II. World War was showed it?s effect in Turkish inside and outside politics. In this time, taking measures for protecting from war cause to opposing thoughts. The first opposing political party is ?Nation Progress Party?. This party had ideas about economy and liberalism. However, it was not powerful about being an oppositional party. The most evident oppositional idea was appeared with the law of giving land to farmers and this law was explained in a document named ?Four Expounding? by Refik Koraltan, Celal Bayar, Adnan Menderes, and Fuat Köprülü.The most important effect for having much political parties is opening the ?Democrat Party?. This party was opened in 7 January 1946, from this date to 1950 it provided some important changings about selection law, universities, press, unions law, and thanks to press this party prepared the end of ?CHP? which is a political party continued 23 years it?s power.
