Preperation of the education cd issuing knowledge of colors for the preschool and primary school first grade students by using multimedia

There have been rapid advancements in the field of education in line with thetechnological advancements nowadays. The most significant ones of thesetechnological advancements are obviously the computer and interactive multimediasystems. The interactive multimedia, through the advantages it offers, became anindispensable part of the moden education system. As well as their use in all thefields of education, the necessity of the use of multimedia platforms in the educationof arts which has a significant role in increasing the sociocultural development andimprovement level of the communities is unquestionable.In this survey, the designing periods of the interactive multimedia systemswere analyzed and their contributions to the education of arts were tried to bedetermined. Being a system controlled by the user, multimedia provides the studentthe opportunity to learn in his/her own speed. More over, by making the studentactive during the period of getting knowledge, multimedia increases theselfconfidence level of the student. Multimedia platform enables the student to makeresearch in a kind of athmosphere of discoveries and at the same time to learn byhaving fun in this period.With its such kinds of contributions the use of multimedia platforms in themodern education system became inavitable. For this reason, an interactiveEducation CD was prepared to use in the primary and preschool classes for artseducation. This education CD was prepared for the topic ?Knowledge of Colors?that takes place in the contents of Arts and Crafts Classes.Key Words: nteractive Multimedia, Art Education, Desing
