Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to examine whether the worksheets prepared based on multiple intelligence theory have a significant effect on the mathematics achievement and attitudes of middle school 6th grade students. The study group of the study consists of students studying in a secondary school affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Bingöl city center in 2017 - 2018 academic year. The research is a quasi - experimental study and it is based on pre - test and post - test model with control group. The control and experimental groups were randomly selected from the 4 branches in the 6th grades of this secondary school, taking into account the results of the trial exams. There were 33 students in the control group and 34 students in the experimental group. At the beginning of the study, the mathematics achievement test prepared by the researcher and completed with the help of expert educators was applied to the students in the experimental and control groups as a pre-test. In addition, in order to determine the preliminary attitudes of students towards mathematics, the mathematics attitude scale prepared by İnan (2007) was reorganized and applied to the students in the experimental and control groups. This study, which was planned as 5 lessons per week, lasted 30 lessons in total. In the research, while teaching the experimental group with worksheets prepared based on multiple intelligence theory; control group based on curriculum. At the end of the study, mathematics achievement test and attitude scale towards mathematics were applied as post-test and post-attitude scale. The data obtained from the study were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). In the analysis of the data; Descriptive statistics, dependent and independent t-tests were used. According to the findings of the study, it is seen that there is a significant difference between the pre-test scores of the mathematics achievement test of the groups in the experiments and controls. However, it is seen that there is a significant difference in favor of the experimental group when the math achievement test post-test scores are examined. According to the findings obtained from the attitudes of the experience and control group planning towards mathematics, it is seen that there is no significant difference between the two groups both before and after the application. Similarly, there was no difference in terms of gender. According to these results, according to the results obtained with the participation of the results of employees in a system planned according to multi-intelligence theory, it is said that it does not affect their attitudes towards mathematics in increasing time according to the results.
