A qualitative research about the applicability of multiple intelligence theory which incorporates 5th class primary school students and the results

The multiple intelligence theory is an education philosophy emphasizes the capacity potential, secret and natural power that children have this theory is like a window opening into the human mind. I aimed in this research to identify multiple intelligence theory, determine how to use and get benefit from it for the basic elements of this education program including; targets, contents, projects, measurement and evaluation. This is a conversation model qualitative research on how the multiple intelligence theory perceived, application process, difficulties encountered, finding out the results. Purposeful sampling method was used in this research. According to the results of the research, it is determined that; the students enjoyed their time much more in lessons and couldn?t realized how the time passed, teachers adopted the multiple intelligence theory but also had some troubles in application. Class teachers expressed that they were constrained because of time restriction, large number of students, lack of physical environment and equipment needed. These are the problems needed to be solved in order to get the exact implementation and efficiency of this theory. Also it is determined that the teachers needed to be presented about the examples of this theory in practice, their in-class behaviors, methods and techniques. Inservice trainings, introduction and implementation examples must be presented to the teachers in order to eliminate these problems.
