Özet (EN)
Social inclusion ensures that every individual has equal opportunities to lead a fulfilling life and thrive within society, while actively preventing any form of exclusion or marginalization. A range of opinions and approaches in the world puts people in unstable and unsatisfying situations to protect the minimum standards for an acceptable life. These circumstances have prompted some societies to make balancing decisions. However, they usually aim to increase the standards instead of protecting the minimum standards. Improving social inclusion involves enhancing the conditions under which individuals engage in society, fostering harmonious coexistence, and eliminating instances of social marginalization. On the other side, social exclusion can be described as the lack of involvement in society. Social exclusion deprives people of the chance to participate in decision making and take control of their lives. It constrains them to the margins or the edges of society. This disrupts the integration of societies and causes isolation of individuals or groups. It can be seen as a multidimensional and dynamic process, and it can be observed as a lack or denial of resources, rights, goods, and services to identify with society and participate in its norms, customs, and values. Social inclusion advances the social integration of underprivileged and marginalized individuals by empowering them, fostering united and resilient communities, and ensuring that governmental bodies are accessible and accountable to the public what reflects the civilization and sophistication of peoples. Measures of social exclusion can be put in various researches, and in this research and with implementing MCDM on 29 European countries included Türkiye from 2015 to 2022 using CRITIC, VIKOR and TOPSIS method, social inclusion primary indicators were examined, and it recognized that Luxembourg ranking as number one in implementing social inclusion in both VIKOR and TOPSIS from 2015 till 2022, while Türkiye showed weaker performances dropping to the twenty five position in VIKOR and twenty eight in TOPSIS. On the other hand, Portugal and Poland in VIKOR and Austria and Poland in TOPSIS are actively working towards addressing inequality and exclusion of vulnerable populations by enhancing their participation in society, improving access to resources, amplifying their voices, and upholding human rights. Through these efforts, they aim to empower individuals, foster peaceful and inclusive societies, and strengthen institutions. These initiatives align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set to be accomplished by 2030, which focus on eradicating poverty, preserving the environment, and ensuring prosperity for all.
