ABSTRACT Comparison of Preoperative Age-Creatine-Ejection Fraction score and European System for Cardiac Operative Risk Evaluation Results of Postoperative Results of Patients Performing Coronary By-Pass Operation Objective: To assess the predictive power of the preoperative risk assessment with the Age-Creatine-Ejection Fraction score and the European System for Cardiac Operative Risk Evaluation. Materials and Methods: It is known that atherosclerotic heart diseases are the most common cause of death worldwide. Coronary artery bypass grafting surgery is the gold standard for the treatment of coronary artery disease. It is important to determine the risks of the surgical procedure and to standardize it. Different methods such as the Personnet Index, Cleveland Clinical Score, Age-Creatinein-Ejection Fraction score and the European System for Cardiac Operative Risk Evaluation have been developed for risk assessment. This study was performed retrospectively on the files of patients who underwent elective coronary artery bypass grafting in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 cross-sectional in Balcalı Hospital of Cukurova University Medical Faculty. 241 patients with elective coronary artery bypass graft surgery who met the criteria were included in the study. Results: Of the 241 patients studied, 14 (5,81 %) were exacerbated. The European System for Cardiac Operative Risk Evaluation average score of the patients is 3,3. Age - Creatinine - Ejection Fraction score score average is 1,2739. The mortality rates in both scoring systems are p> 0,05. Conclusion: The Age-Creatine-Ejection Fraction score and the European System for Cardiac Operative Risk Evaluation are methods that can be applied in the risk assessment of elective coronary artery bypass graft operations and give accurate mortality prediction results.
