The Concept of "Lie" in Jacques Derrida's philosophy

Interpretative comparison of the concept of lie in the Ancient Greek era, St. Augustine's philosophy and Hannah Arendt's concept of modern lie, under the light of Jacques Derrida's History of the Lie, the thesis aims to reveal the connections of lie, truth and intention with relation to a philosophical historicity of the concept, giving examples from Rousseau, Nietzsche and others to illuminate peripheral terms such as error, mistake, self-deception, joke in order to expose their differences under the scrutiny of the dominating definitions in philosophy.
