Abstract (EN)

Counting on renewable energy source as a clean and endless power sources has increased rapidly in the last two decades. Wind turbine generators are become good choice for most industries as a stable power source instead of the traditional power supply generators. Despite all benefits of wind energy turbine, there are some problems need to be solved such as the fan pitch and wind variable speed or the types of loads connected to the grid that get power supply from as reactive or active loads. Alternative Current (AC) to Direct Current (DC) converters is a good solution to convert the power got from the wind turbine generators to deliver it to the rest of the grid. In some cases, this is not enough, and this power must redeliver to the load. i.e., factories and industry companies as an AC power. Here comes the AC to DC to Alternative Current concept, which is combining the AC/DC part with DC/AC one. Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), it provides an indication of the degree of the waveform distortion that is brought about by the harmonic content of the voltage and current waveforms. This thesis focuses on this concept trying to design AC/DC/AC converter with a modulation technique which is Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) to solve the problems it may be faced with different working cases like changing in wind speed and other issues and try to rise the performance of the whole grid.
