The effect of covid 19 fear on 112 employees' stress, depressi̇on and anxiety levels: Malatya 112 example

Purpose: The aim of thisstudy is to determine whether the fear of Covid-19 has an effect on the stress, depressinon and anxiety levels of 112 employees. On December 31, 2019, pneumonia cases of unknown etiology emerged in the city of Wuhan, began to spread rapidly, and it was determined that the agent was a new coronavirüs (2019-nCoV) that has not been detected in humans before. All these experiences have affected all occupational groups and their capacity to do business. The occupational group that was most affected by this was undoubtedly health workers. This study was conducted to reveal the level of impact of healthcare workers affected by the pandemic. Questionnaire method was used to collect data in the study. The sample group of the study consists of Malatya 112 employees. In the study data were collected from 306 people, but due to 9 extreme values, data analysis was perfomed on 297 people whose 9 extreme values were disabled. Data analysis was carried out on a total of297 people, 177 (%59,6) female end 120 (%40,4) male. According to the titles of the data collected; It consists of 14 Doctors, 134 AABT, 131 ATT, 11 Drivers and 7 Other personnel. Participants who voluntarily participated in the study were asked to fill in Demographic Questions, Depression-Anxiety-Stress Scale and Covid-19 Fear Scale. According to the completed survey analysis; Depression levels of 112 emergency workers were measured at moderate levels, while their stress and anxiety levels were measured at mild levels.
