Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the depression, anxiety and stress levels of patients hospitalized with the diagnosis of Covid-19 during the pandemic process. In this study, data were collected through a questionnaire form from 146 patients aged 18-65+ who were hospitalized as positive for Covid-19 and agreed to participate in the study. In this questionnaire, first of all, patients were asked to fill in questions about their demographic characteristics and then the symptoms of the disease. Finally, and the most important part of my thesis is filled with scale of dass-21. In this scale, there are 7 questions about depression, anxiety and stress, a score is given for each question and a score table is opened for 7 questions in total. These scores determine the depression, anxiety and stress levels of the patients according to the values given by the Dass-21 scale. After collecting all the questionnaire forms, the data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS 26 package program. In this analysis, depression, anxiety and stress score tables specific to each patient were extracted and compared. The results obtained from the data were compared according to the age, gender, educational status, marital status and employment status of the patients, and it was revealed according to which criteria they changed. Considering the mental disorders of the patients participating in the study, 50% were anxiety, 24.7% were depression and 19.2% were stress. It is seen that hospitalizations with the diagnosis of Covid-19 significantly increase the anxiety levels of patients. When age ranges are taken into account, it has been observed that depression, anxiety and stress levels increase in direct proportion to age. From an educational point of view, levels are higher among primary school graduatesLooking at the marital status, it is seen that married people experience much more depression, anxiety and stress. Since the data differed according to gender and working status, a definite conclusion could not be reached.
