Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between self-perception, marital adjustment and psychological resilience in parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). For this purpose, the relationships between dependent variables (self-perception, marital adjustment, and psychological resilience) in mothers and fathers with ASD were discussed and whether the dependent variable levels differed from those of mothers and fathers with normal development is investigated. The participants of the study were 80 randomly selected parents from this community and volunteered to participate in the study, including 28 parents with autism children and 52 parents with normally developing children. In order to collect data in this study, personal information form, Self-Perception Scale which measure dependent variables, Marital Adjustment Scale and Psychological Resilience Scale were used.
