Abstract (EN)
Aim: In health institutions, the basic building block of which consists of human labor; The high quality of work life of the employees increases their satisfaction, thus their motivation and commitment to the institution, and contributes to the low level of burnout. In this context, the aim of the research is to evaluate the effect of the occupational life quality perceptions of the health personnel who are actively working during the COVID-19 pandemic on their burnout levels in terms of forensic sciences. Material and method: The research is exploratory and descriptive research. In the study, the "Quality of Work Life Scale" adapted from Aba (2009) was developed by Maslach and Jackson (1986), and Turkish validity and reliability was established by Ergin (1992); "Maslach Burnout Scale" was used. Due to the pandemic, the research was carried out by using the online survey method to the health personnel working actively in the process, with the convenience sampling method between 01.02.2022 and 01.03.2022, and as a result, 324 health workers were reached. The results were evaluated by structural equation modeling. Results: According to the findings obtained from the research data, the average of the employees' perceptions of the quality of work life was 39.45; burnout levels were found to be 61.40. The mean score of employees' participation in the effect of work life quality on medical malpractice was 3.78; The mean score of participating in the effect of burnout level on medical malpractice is 4.9. Conclusion: In the study; that the quality of work life of health workers during the pandemic process is low and this increases their level of burnout; At the same time, it was concluded that these factors have an effect on medical errors.
