Abstract (EN)
This study aims to examine the history of quran memorization education, its current status, and particularly its transformation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Firstly, the origins and historical development of memorization education are discussed from a historical perspective. Subsequently, the current practice of memorization education and the changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic are examined. The integration of distance education, digital platforms, and new teaching methods into memorization education during the pandemic is discussed. This study also evaluates the challenges encountered in memorization education during the pandemic and provides solutions to these challenges. Finally, the potential of metaverse platforms such as virtual reality and augmented reality in memorization education is explored, and the role of these technologies in the future is discussed
