Abstract (EN)

COVID-19, one of the corona viruses capable of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), was first reported in December 2019 and quickly created a pandemic. The fact that the clinical course of the disease ranges from asymptomatic to death in the literature and that viral pathogenesis and anti-viral resistance are multifactorial was confirmed by this project. Studies have shown that the most important parameter directly related to the pathogenesis is comorbidity. In addition, there is a relationship between the pathogenesis of SARS-CoV-2 corona virus (COVID-19) infection and antibodies against the spike protein. Recovery and maintenance of anti-viral antibody response varies with comorbidity in patients. It has also been shown that there is an association between antibodies against the spike protein known to harbor neutralizing epitopes for diasease resistance and duration of disease. In this thesis, the relationship between hematological parameters and viral pathogenesis in patient groups was examined. For this project, 84 patients were studied. Rapid Test was used for IgG and IgM antibody detection, ELISA method was used for anti RBD antibodies. As a result of the study, a statistically significant relationship was found between the clinical categories of the patients and comorbidity.
