Distance education in primary schools during COVID 19: Executive, teacher and parent opinions

The aim of this study is to reveal the views on distance education practices in public primary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. 5 teachers and 5 administrators working in Konyaaltı and the parents of 5 students whose children are studying in Konyaaltı, which was determined by easily accessible case sampling, which is one of the purposeful sampling methods, participated in this research in which the qualitative research method was used. The research is in the case study pattern, one of the qualitative research designs. For this reason, semi-structured interview form was prepared and interview technique was used in order to collect data in the research, and the data were analyzed by content analysis technique. All the data obtained in the research were coded, various dimensions and themes suitable for these dimensions were determined in accordance with the purpose of the research, and the identified themes were summurized and interpreted. The problems encountered in distance education applications in public primary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, especially the current situation experienced during the pandemic process, were evaluated and some solution suggestions were presented.
