Abstract (EN)
In the performed master thesis, the pumice has been used to increase the stability and the durability of polymer inclusion asymmmetric composite membranes (PIACMs) and they have been optimized on the Cr(VI) removal nad selective separation. At the end of performed experimental studies, we get the pumice mine a newapplication field and the economical value of pumice to our country has been increased. The metal transport activity and capacity of produced PIACMs have been investigated in the scope of Cr(VI) transport from acidic aqueous media. PIACMs in the different physicochemical properties have been produced by changing the component rates and the some executive PIACM parameters on Cr(VI) transport like carrier rate, membrane thickness, pumice rate and size, plasticizer rate and type have been optimized. At the end of performed experiments with PIACM having optimum component rates throughout transport experiments, membrane transport capacity, membrane stability and the selectivity of membrane against some interferred metal ions which are added to aqueous media have been determined. In addition to all, the relationship between the surface properties of PIACMs and metal transport has been investigated by using some surface characterization techniques like SEM-EDX, AFM and contact angle measurement.
