Abstract (EN)
In this thesis; Zinc Oxide (ZnO) structures were synthesized by Chemical Bath Deposition (CBD) technique. It is an easy and fast synthesis technique. The effect of Na, K, Ca doping on the ZnO structure was investigated. The crystal structure, morphology, elemental composition and optical properties of ZnO films were determined by XRD, SEM, XPS, UV-Vis analyses. In addition, hydrophobic-hydrophilic nature and photocatalytic properties of the ZnO structures were investigated. According to the results, the sodium ion which has a close value to the ionic diameter of the zinc ion was successfully doped to the structure. In addition, the energy bandgap of the structure increased significantly with doping of the sodium. The addition of potassium ion resulted in the formation of K2O. However, with the technique used, calcium could not be doped in the structure.
