Abstract (EN)

In this study; energy input-output and environmental emission of sweet sorghum production and its energy efficiency and environmental effects were determined to produce the dry biomass. Energy efficiency of production, energy output/input ratio, specific energy, energy productivity and net energy yield were determined in regard to energy input-output of sweet sorghum production. Environmental effects of sweet sorghum production were assessed with life cycle assessment. Environmental effects categories were obtained with CML 2001 methods. To improve the present production some advanced development were suggested depend on the results of the research data?s.The results showed that the average dry biomass yield in sweet sorghum was 9135 kg per ha. The energy output/input ratio was found to be 11.38, if dry biomass are only taken into account. The specific energy was 1.63 MJ/kg, while the energy productivity and net energy yield was found to be of the order of 0.31 kg/MJ and 154391.27 MJ/ha, respectively for the dry biomass production. Environmental effects causes the marine aquatic toxicity in percent 50.39 depend on the life cycle effect assessment of sweet sorghum production and local effects in percent of 80.02 its life cycle interpretation. Also, the value of global warming (climate change) was calculated as 1043.51 kg CO2-eq/ha. Fertilizing were increased either energy input or environmental effects to produce the biomass from sweet sorghum cultivation.
