Abstract (EN)

This research was conducted to determine the effects of four different distance between plants in rows ( 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm and 30 cm ) on yield and quality of two sunflower cultivars, at Doğu Akdeniz Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüsü in 2019. The experiment laydown was split plot expermental design with 3 replicates. At the planting, time distance between rows was kept by 70 cm. Days to flowering, physiological maturation period, self pollination rate, seed hull ratio, plant height, head diameter, 1000 seed weight, hectoliter weight, seed yield, protein pertencage, oil content, oil yield properties were investigated in the research. According to the results of the study, applications of different distances between plants in rows had significant effects on seed yield per Hectare, seed weight per plant, hectoliter weight. The highest seed yield was obtained from Tunca variety by 4095 kg/ha.Among the distance applications, 70 x 25 cm gave the highest seed yield by 4166 kg/ha.
