ABSTRACT Ç.U. AND MERSİN UNIVERCITY THE EVALUTTON OF PROGRAMME PRIMARY TEACHING SONGÜL TURKOGLU M.A. Thesis, The Department Of Education Science Advisor : Prof. Dr. Adil TÜRKO?LU December 2004, 133 pages In this research, the main goal has been determined as to reveal the impact of the teacher training program on efficiency of teachers of the first grade of elementary schools and to evaluate the program as a whole improve it. While doing this study, the ideas of students were taken into consideration. The research is made up of five chapters such as; introduction, searches of essential method, findings and comments and abstract- conclusion and suggestions. This research is model of descriptive search questionnaire was employed in this research. Pre-test of questionnaire was applied for 25 students. It had become last shape by opinions of Advisor and specialists. This questionnaire has 53 question - matter. The questionnaires has been applied 243 students who are at the last degree of their license education. These applications have proven the questionnaires to be valid. The findings which were obtained from the application of the questionnaire were analysed conveniently to the goals by using frequency (f ) and percent (%) were given in fiqures. Students of last class in Education Faculty of Çukurova and Mersin University have been thought to attend in programme Professional behaviors that required attending a qualified teacher. Students lesson of attending in programme approve as students' opinions. Students haven't been wanted upstract math, general chemistry and physics. These lessons are very difficult for students. They have been wanted psychology lessons. Students haven't been interested in student's problems as results of questionnaire. As students' opinions, social activities are not enough.Students of graduated from high school of Anatolia teaching should choose for department of primary teaching. Guidance should be made to students after ÖSS by academician. Purpose and behaviours to attend in programme should be determinated clearly. Time of training should be increased for experience about guidance service should be given information to students. Key Words : primary teaching, the evalution of programme
