Özet (EN)

Herbicide applications are the most preferred weed control method because of its easy applicability and fast results in weed control. Herbicide application rules extremely important to comply absolutely. Otherwise, some problems may arise such as phytotoxicity. After applying herbicide, farmers can see effects such as yellowing and short stature on cultivated plants, which they call stressed. In this study, the undesirable situation that the farmers call stressing was examined. Accordingly, the trials were carried out by choosing the most preferred herbicides with different application methods and mechanisms in the Çukurova Region in wheat and corn crops. Dimethyl amin salt equivalent to 500 g/l 2,4-D acid equivalent and 240 g/l Clodinafop-propargyl herbicides used post-emergence in wheat were used in the experiments, while herbicides with 330 g/l Pendimethalin used pre-emergence and 25% Rimsulfuron formulated herbicides used post-emergence were used in corn. used. The experiments were carried out in field and pots for two years. Registered doses of the selected herbicides (N doses), double dose (2N doses), four times (4N doses), and control (0 doses). Pot experiments were establish in a randomized plot design with five replications, while field experiments were establish in a randomized block design with four replications. In the established trials, the height, yield, harvest weight and chlorophyll amounts of the crops were measured and compared. With these data, it has been tried to reveal whether herbicides cause yellowing in plants and whether this has an effect on chlorophyll formation. In addition, it was also investigated whether the herbicides caused any damage to the cultivated plants with the applications. As a result of these trials, the N dose of the herbicide with Clodinafop-propargyl active substance was the herbicide that affected the wheat most negatively, while the N dose of the herbicide with Pendimethalin active substance and the 4N dose of the herbicide with Rimsulfuron active substance were the most phytotoxic herbicides for corn.
