Prof. Dr. Sema DÜZENLİFour medical perennial plants (Ceratonia siliqua L., Eucalyptuscamaldulensis Dehnh., Nerium oleander L., Olea europaea var. europaea L.) thatgrow naturally in three different areas of Çukurova University Campus were studied.Fixed and Volatil oil contents of leaves, organic carbon, total nitrogen, C/N ratio,pH, CaCO3 content, soil color, texture and field capacity of their soils weredetermined. 3.22, 3.33, 3.44, 2.33 (%) fixed oil was obtained respectively, essentialoil was measured only in E. camaldulensis (% 0.98).Key Words: Essential oil, Ceratonia, Eucalyptus, Nerium, OleaIII
