Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to translate Ahmet Rasim's work, Cümel-i Hikemiyye-i Osmaniye, written in Ottoman Turkish, into modern Turkish and present it to the reader in a more understandable form. Cümel-i Hikemiyye-i Osmaniye is a work composed of quotations from the poems of poets from the time of the poet Şinasi to the time of the work itself. This is expressed on page 6 with the sentence, "The Cümel-i Hikemiyye-i Osmaniye, which is written in this booklet, consists of the words of our scholars who grew up since the time of the late Şinasi." The work contains many moral and educational poems and educational poems and couplets, advocating truthfulness, honesty, and justice, with an admonitory purpose. Each page has been translated into modern Turkish, with page numbers provided. Information about Ahmet Rasim, the author of Cümel-i Hikemiyye-i Osmaniye, is provided. The poet's name is listed below each quoted poem. The poets mentioned have been identified, brief information has been provided, and their biographies have been compiled. In addition, the number of poems taken from these poets has been displayed in a table, and the poems' subject themes have been identified, identifying which topics and poets' poems were taken from. For clarity, a glossary of words used in the Cümel-i Hikemiyye-i Osmaniye has been compiled and listed in alphabetical order.
