Education budgets in Republic Period

The main aim of the study, which is titled Education Budgets in Republic Period is to bring how the education budgets in republic period were shaped up by taking the educational politics into consideration. It is tried to be explained with this study how the balances of financial position organized while enforcing the educational politics in the past. It is tried to be brought how the budget that was allocated for the Ministry of Education in the years between 1923 and 1950 was used in the social, politics, economical and cultural areas up in this study. For this reason it was given place to the educational politics in the years between 1923 and 1950, and the budgets of every year were examined by dwelling on interactions between them. Atatürk and Inönü periods were explained by themselves by benefiting from numerical information's and data.Keywords: History of Turkish Education, Economical Politics, Budget
