Abstract (EN)

The discovery of mines by people in the world has revealed mining studies. As a result of the studies in this area, tools were obtained from mines first and then the mines were considered as a substance that provides economic benefits. Therefore, the mines have changed the fate of the states in the historical period, and even the war shave been made for this reason. When we think about the tool sand equipment sweuse today, we find out how much we need the mines. Anatolia has been home to many civilizations throughout history. When these civilizations became aware of the mines in there gions they were in, they took them out with primitive methods, then processed and used them. As a result of this situation, a large mine legacy was left from the Ottoman State to the Republic of Turkey in the Anatolian geography we still live in. The Republican government shave also included mining in their policies for the economic evaluation of this wealth and have chosen the way to benefit from the existing mines. Etibank established in 1935 for this purpose has been active in extracting and processing the mines with modern methods. The minin gsector in Turkey has gained great momentum as a result of the work of this in stitution. The mining policies of the Republic of Turkey between 1923 and 1960 and Etibank's work and contributions to this area are included in our thesis.
