Özet (EN)

The Music Revolution is one of the reform that was made when the Republic proclamated. For the Contemporary Turkish Music that revolution was very important. In that period, current composing techniques and polyphonic vocalizations started to be used. The first compositions of the Republican Periods source of inspiration was nationalism movement which reflectes cultural values. Cemal Reşit Rey, Ulvi Cemal Erkin, Hasan Ferid Alnar, Ahmed Adnan Saygun and Necil Kazım Akses who known as the first generation composers of the Republican era composed for orchestra, opera, solo instruments and many more. In this research, the first generation composers solo piano works, which titled as "oyun havası", were discussed and it was aimed to examine the reflections of Turkish music. The method of the research is document analysis, and the analysis of the data obtained was carried out under the titles of melodic, rhythmic, harmonic and formal structure. As a result of the analysis, it has been concluded that the first generation composers have processed the characteristic features of the "oyun havası" in their works, which they composed in the title of "oyun havası", to the finest detail and skillfully transferred the elements of Turkish music to the piano, which is a Western music instrument.
