Eastern organization of Republican Public Party (1923-1950)

In this study in which Eastern Organization of Republican Public Party was examined, we discussed firstly the extent of organization activities before Republic and then how CHP (RPP) prepared its own organizational base. We explored how experiences of National Struggle and Constitutional Monarchy affected decisions of CHP administrators. Party's evolutions, both throughout country in general and in Eastern regions hi particular, are scrutinized as before 1931, 1930s and after 1943. as a result of analyses on ethnic origins of representatives of Eastern regions, properties of social layers of which CHP based on were listed.In study, we tried to use primary sources incentively. Documents, publications and official reports before 1950 were used through this study. We kept to Party-Organization-East equation while making inferences. We adopted a methodology towards analysis, not cognitive and abstract ones. Both developments of Eastern organization and conjunctural conditions were mentioned historically.Key Words: CHP, One Party Era, CHP Organization, Eastern Organization of CHP.
