Abstract (EN)
The study covers the examination of the programs that form the basis of such activities in schools in accordance with the principle of the Convention on the Rights of the Child to teach children's rights. In this direction, the aim of the study is to evaluate the level of children's rights in the Life Science curriculum which has come into force since the republic. The universe of the research consists of all .(1926, 1930, 1936, 1948, 1962, 1968, 1998, 2005, 2009, 2015, 2017, 2018 primary school life science curriculums) the curriculum of life science course developed from the proclamation of the Republic until. The sample of the study consists of primary school Life Science Curriculum and the achievements in these programs, which were applied by entering into force and which can be reached as a result of screening, 1936, 1948, 1968, 1998, 2009, 2015 and 2018. In the research, the achievements of all programs reached as a result of literature review were examined based on the form prepared by the researcher. While preparing this form, the Child Rights Convention, which was accessed from the official website of UNICEF, and the categories that Uluç (2008) developed in her research on how children's rights were included in primary education programs were used. Descriptive analysis was used for data analysis. As a result of the research, a total of 150 achievements related to the Convention on the Rights of the Child were identified in all the programs included in the sample. Of these, 84 (56.00%) were in the category of right to participate, 41 (27.33) in the right to live, 14 (9.33%) in the right to protection, 11 (7.33%) in the category of right to development. When evaluated according to years, it was concluded that children's rights took place in 2009 LLLP with a total of 292 gains (21.33%) from 292 gains in total. In 2018 LSC (life sience curriculum), with a total of 148 gains, 30 gains (20.27%), 2015 LSC with 146 gains in total, 17 gains (11.64%), 1948 LSC with 89 gains in total, 9 gains (10.11%), 1998 LSC with a total of 228 gains, 19 It was found that 1968 LSC took place in 123 gains in total with 7 gains (5.69%) and 1936 LSC took place in 94 gains in total with 5 gains (5.31%).
