In this study, effects of mercury on Na+, K+-ATP ase enzyme activity and accumulation in kidney, intestine and muscle of Oreochromis niloticus were investigated in both Hg and Hg-Se mixtures. The fish were exposed to 0.01 mg/L Hg, 0.01 mg/L Hg+0.1 mg/L Se and 0.1 mg/L Hg, 0.1 mg/L Hg+1.0 mg/L Se mixtures for 7 and 21 days to observe mercury accumulation and Na+, K+-ATP ase enzyme activitiess in tissues.
