Abstract (EN)

Major developments in technology include many important developments in the fields of entrepreneurship and internet. In line with these developments, e-commerce entrepreneurship is emerging as a new type in the field of entrepreneurship. It is observed that the volume of e-commerce, which saves entrepreneurs from certain difficulties and enables them to reach wider audiences, has increased significantly recently. E-commerce, which combines commerce with the internet, provides profitability and convenience to businesses and entrepreneurs. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of female e-commerce entrepreneurs operating in the province of Elazig during the Covid-19 global epidemic period in e-commerce. It is aimed to reveal the differences experienced by women e-commerce entrepreneurs during the Covid-19 epidemic and their effects on their businesses by using semi-structured interview technique. The study consists of 2 parts. In the first chapter, theoretical information about the concepts of e-commerce and entrepreneurship is given. In the second part, information is given about the Covid-19 outbreak and its effects on e-commerce. It is an inevitable fact that the Covid-19 pandemic process has effects on many fields and sectors. This study was conducted on examining and concluding the effects on e-commerce. As a result of the research, it was observed that the Covid-19 pandemic process had effects on e-commerce and it was stated that it had effects on women entrepreneurs.
