The effects of D-8 Organization on Turkish foreign policy

D-8 Organization is an organizationestablished by 8 developing Islamic countries,aiming to enhance international tradeand economy. This study aim stoanaly sethe effects of the D-8 Organization on theTurkish foreign policy. It examines diplomatic relations between D-8 countries andTurkey since the foundation of the D-8 Organization. It also looks at therelations among the member countries and Turkey before and after the foundationof the D-8. Turkey has achieved some substantial achievements within theframework of the D-8 Organization, but these gains were not continuous. In thisrespect, the impact of the D-8 Organization on the Turkish foreign policy and tradevolumes between Turkey and the member countries has remained limited.
