The full design of drip irrigation systems is very complex, because of the large numbers of parameters to be considered. In this case, the use of a computational tool is actually essential. In this study, a CAD based software prepared and the key techniques presented for the development of a drip irrigation CAD software. The layout of pipe network plays an important role in the design of micro-irrigation system, Software draws lateral pipes automatically. Software calculates head and discharge distributions along laterals and submains, calculates all emitters discharge in the parcel. As the net pressure head at each emitter is evaluated, the corresponding emitter discharge is estimated accordingly. The results of examples solved using the presented technique are in close agreement with other rational analysis.
