An examination of Dellâlzade İsmail Efendi's works found in Dârül-Elhan archive in terms of authority and navigation

In this research, which was conducted in order to reveal the progressing characteristics of the maqam based on the works of Dellâlzâde İsmail Efendi in the Dârül-Elhan archive, and to determine how and in what way Dellâlzâde's understanding of the maqam progression had an impact on the studies that could be obtained for the teaching of maqam; document examination or in other words, document analysis was used to determine the situation from qualitative research methods. In the research, maqam progressing examinations were made on the works of Dellâlzâde İsmail Efendi in the Dârül-elhan Archive, and according to the examined works, new maqam narratives were developed and examples of maqam narrations were tried to be obtained within the framework of these narratives. The findings revealed as a result of the investigations were interpreted in the theoretical framework order and Dellâlzâde İsmail Efendi's understanding of the narration of the maqam was revealed. However, information belonging to the period in which Dellâlzâde İsmail Efendi lived and the maqam understandings of the periods before and after him was reached. In this part of the study, historical research method from qualitative research method was used. In line with these sources; It has been seen that the works of Dellâlzâde İsmail Efendi constitute an important source in terms of completing the incomplete or inaccurate aspects of theoretical information. According to the findings obtained in the research; It is thought that the characteristic of the understanding of makâm in Dellâlzâde İsmail Efendi's compositions will guide the aspects that are not understood in terms of the concepts of maqam and progressing, and that the way the maqam is processed in the works will benefit both to understand and to be defined. It is more comprehensive if it is a comparison of its own time and mode descriptions and navigational features; It is that the understanding of makam in Dellâlzâde's works is in accordance with his understanding of the period. A self-assessment according to the relevant authorities; especially in comparison according to Arel-Ezgi theory; The cruise in children can be made in the open according to the descriptions given.
