Abstract (EN)
This study aimed to investigate counseling period followed by psychologicalcounselors for affering psychologic aid to primary school students who have conductdisorder and cooperation of psychological counselors with families, Guidance ResearchCenter, psychiatry services and related teachers.This working group included 22 school counselors working in primary schoolswhich have 52 students taken conduct disorder diagonsis by the health centers andGuidance Research Centre during the one year. Essentional datas fort he study werecollected by discussion technique which is kind of qualitative researc methods.At the consequence of the content analysis of the datas, generally teachers andfamilies are seen as the first learning source by the school counselors who have conductdisordered students. On the other hand, ıt is seen that these families and teachers don?tpassess enaught information about qualitatives and guantitative features of theirchildren.School counselors reported that there are a lot of student who make counselorsthought having conduct disorder don?t utilize from health centers for diagnosis andtreatment. However; it is seen that there is not a clear information about these student?snumber in school counselors? hands.It is determined that just 1/3 of the students diagnosed as having conductdisorder were guided by the counselors. 1/3 of them were led to observed these studentsaspect of counseling. About remained 1/3 of the students counselors didn?t have anyinformation.While counselors evaluate conduct disorder diagnosis given to the students bythe health centers from the point of view of suitability, they reported that some of thesediagnoses were appropriate but some of them were inappropriate for these students.It is faund that individual interview, observation and following studies andcollimation (guiding) services were affered directly by the counselors to conductdisordered students.As it is looked around the cooperation, ıt is determined that school counselorsgenerally don?t collaborate with health intitutions.It is seen that school counselors affered services based on cooperation withtamilien having conduct disordered students. Individual interview, acquainting offamilies, collimation of children to related health institutions, seminar studies and homevisits. Were some of these services.It is determined that counselors generally collaborate with teachers but thiscooperation is not required level. Concerning with students diagnosed as havingconduct disorder, cooperation with school administration is not found sufficient by thecounselors.It is seen that counselors doesn?t cooperate with institutions like municipalities,culture directorships of country and the youth and sports directorships of country formaking use of students diagnosed as having conduct disorder.Key words: Conduct Disorder, Primary School, Counselor.
