Özet (EN)

ABSTRACT investigation of the Genetic Basis of Behavior in Balb/c and C3H/HenBom Mice and in Their Crossbred and Chimeras It is well known that both hereditary factors and environment give behavior its shape. Ideal models to search the genetic basis of behavior is both monozygotic twins and chimeric creatures in which genome is not hybrid but two different genomes are found in the same body. In this study, it is aimed to search different behaviors in two inbred strains of mice, their aggregation chimeras and first generation hybrids. Chimeric mice were produced with embryonic aggregation technique and a number of tests were performed to the inbred strains and theri chimeras and hybrids. The results show that however some differences can be found between the inbred strains, those tests are insufficient to indicate the differences in chimeric mice. Key Words: Chimera, Behavior, Reproductive physiology, Behavioral physiology XI
