The life of Mr. Vildan Faik, works and the assay of Tefsir i Sure i Kaf product

The subject of this research is to examine and analyse the life and works of Debreli Vildan Fâik Efendi, one of the last Ottoman scholars who lived in the 19th century, in particular his work Tafsîr-ı Sûre-ı Kâf. Our aim is to paint a portrait of the period's interpretation through said work. Our first chapter will be dedicated to the life of Vildan Fâik Efendi and his works in general. The second chapter shall be devoted to the manuscript Tafsîr-i Sure-i Kaf. In this section, we shall first mention the title of the work, how it was attributed to the author, the language, the purpose and date of its composition. Then, we shall mention the copy characteristics of the manuscript. Finally, we shall include the method used by the author troughout the work and the sources. In our third chapter, which is the last part of our study, we shall include the Arabic translations of the parts we have mentioned above and the authenticated text of the manuscript.
