Investigation of post graduated thesis related on values education

The aim of this research is to analyze the master's and doctoral theses on values education carried out in Turkey between the years 2016-2019. Working in the subject heading "values education" is limited to the last ones made in Turkey. 250 theses cataloged in YÖK National Thesis Center were examined in line with the determined categories and evaluated according to the findings obtained by document analysis. Theses which included in the study were examined in terms of the university, institute, year of publication, subject area, method/model and design, sample type, sample size, data collection tools, reliability and validity studies, and data analysis techniques were examined. In this study, data analysis was carried out with content analysis. The data obtained were interpreted based on percentages and frequencies. According to the results of the research; It has been seen that the university that publishes the most about theses on values education is Gazi University. Postgraduate studies were published mostly within the scope of Educational Sciences Institute. It was determined that the studies were mostly created in the departments of Turkish and Social Sciences Education. It was determined that the majority of theses were published in 2019. The majority of theses are qualitative and in the type of document review. As a sample size, mostly 1-50 participants were studied. The majority of data collection tools in research are document review and questionnaire form. Content analysis is the most used data analysis technique.
