An example model for students in values education "Hz. Mohammed"

Today, values education have been attracting people's attention in various fields, and therefore, various studies approaching the subject from different angles have been being presented. Looking at the studies, it has been seen that there are not enough studies examining the principles of the Qur'an and Sunnah, which were used in the construction of the Islamic society, in which people who got rid of some immoral habits in the period of ignorance acquired universal values. Whereas the Qur'an and Mohammad (s.a.v), who is an exemplary model for humanity, have been making a great contribution to researchers with its rich content in this field, and therefore it has been being needed to be researched. On the other hand, imitating the good morals of Hz. Mohammad and trying to live as he lived are necessary for people to live a peaceful, honorable and happy life in this world and in the hereafter. Therefore, in this study, we tried to convey his exemplary life, which he presented to humanity, in terms of universal moral values, especially for the benefit of educators who are interested in values education. In the first part, we focused on values and values education. Then, we examined values and values education in the religion of Islam. In the second part, we tried to explain in detail the root values in the curricula determined by the Ministry of National Education, in the example of Hz. Mohammad, by examining them within the framework of the Qur'an and hadiths. Thus, we tried to put forward a study that can be used by academicians, educators, students and everyone who is interested in this field.
