Effects of poultry manure and fertigation ECs applied in varied levels on greenhouse spring tomatoes cultivation (Solanum Lycopersicum) effects on yield and quality

Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to determine the effects of poultry manure applied 3 different levels with 2 different doses fertigation ECs and their interactions on fruit yield, quality and plant nutrition in greenhouse spring tomato cultivation. Experimental treatments consist of 6 subjects which are; TG0 kg/da + FRT.EC1,5, TG400 kg/da + FRT.EC1,5, TG800 kg/da + FRT.EC1.5, TG0 kg/da + FRT.EC3, TG400 kg/da + FRT.EC3, TG800 kg/da + FRT.EC3, Experiment coincidence parcels carried out in three replications according to trial design. When the results of soil analysis are evaluated, the applications of poultry manure are; EC value, organic matter, total nitrogen, available zinc, available boron content of soil were statistically significant. Fertigation EC is statistically significant on EC value, total nitrogen and total potassium content of soil. When the results of plant analysis are examined; poultry manure x fertigation EC interaction was statistically significant on the total potassium concentration, with the highest K concentration seen in the TG800 kg/da + FRT.EC1.5 Fertigation EC is statistically significant on the iron concentration that can be obtained from the plant. When the fruit nutrient contents were taken into consideration, applications of poultry manure were found statistically significant on the total amount of nitrogen and available magnesium concentration of fruit, Fertigation EC and poultry manure x fertigation EC interactions, available magnesium concentration. In the fruit quality criteria, application of poultry manure was found statistically significant on fruit flesh hardness. The effects of chicken fertility x fertigation EC interactions was statistically significant on the yield and number of fruits and the highest fruit quality and number of fruits were observed in TG800 kg/da + FRT.EC3 application. Poultry manure x fertigation EC interaction were statistically significant on BER number and BER weight and the highest BER number and highest BER weight observed in TG400 kg/da + FRT.EC3 application. While the most effective application on fruit quality, fruit yield and number of fruits is TG800 kg/da + FRT.EC3, it has been observed that the manure pellets are considerably physically stable. This observation can be considered as an important factor that could limit the effects of pellet poultry manure on the first growing period.
