Özet (EN)
Polycystic ovary syndrome is a chronic condition that can negatively affect the quality of life, which is usually common in women of fertility age and is caused by the deterioration of interactions between the central nervous system, ovaries, pituitary, adrenal glands, and extra glandular tissues. Our study investigated the potential therapeutic effects of Apigenin and Chrysin on polycystic ovary syndrome created with DHEA by combining alone. 48 Wistar Albino-type female rats for 21 days will be divided into 5 different groups: SHAM, PCOS, PCOS+AGN, PCOS+CH, PCOS+KOMBİN. FSH, LH, PROG, KNG1, IL-18, IL-1β, IL-13, IFN-γ, EREG, IGFBP3, Inhibitor, and Insulin levels were measured using the ELISA method in ovarian tissue and plasma. SOD, GPx, CAT activities, and MDA levels in ovarian tissues were determined by spectrophotometric methods. Plasma LH, FSH, LH/FSH, and PROG levels of the treatment groups decreased significantly in agn and KOMBİN groups compared to the PCOS group, while reductions in FSH and LH/FSH rates were not significant. When tissue FSH, LH, LH/FSH, and PROG levels were looked at, a significant decrease was observed in the KOMBİN group of treatment groups compared to the PCOS group in tissue LH. Plasma INH, EREG, IFN-ɣ levels of treatment groups increased compared to the PCOS group but were not significant. Plasma and tissue IGFBF-3 levels were significantly higher in CH and PCOS group compared to the SHAM group, while there was a significant decrease in the AGN group. A significant increase was observed in the tissue IFN-ɣ level of the treatment groups compared to the PCOS group. There was a significant reduction in plasma IL-18 and IL-13 values of the rats who had been treated with a treatment agent compared to the PCOS group. The most significant reduction in IL-13 level is in the AGN group. While there was a significant decrease in tissue IL-18 compared to the PCOS group, there was a significant decrease in CH and KOMBİN groups in IL-1β. Plasma SOD, GPx activities Compared to the SHAM group and PCOS group, significant plasma CAT activity and MDA levels increased significantly in the PCOS group. Tissue SOD, CAT, GPx activities, and MDA levels decreased significantly in the PCOS group compared to the SHAM group. As a result, it is thought that the use of AGN and KOMBIN in PCOS ovarian tissues created with DHEA can effectively reduce cystic structures in the ovaries, suppress inflammation, oxidative stress, hormones, thus playing an active role in the treatment of PCOS. It is thought that it will contribute to new drug studies with current approaches in the treatment of PCOS, which is an important health problem; and will help to use modern medicine methods along with these drug treatments. In addition to all the treatments, apigenin and Chrysin, a new therapeutic agent, are thought to lead the treatments. Keywords: Dehydroepiandrosterone, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Apigenin, Chrysin
