Abstract (EN)
Humans are equipped with many superior qualities and abilities. However, humans are also weak-willed and inclined to evil deeds beside these superior abilities. That is why humans need a guide who will guide them to the right path in their thoughts and behaviours. Allah the almighty did not leave his servants alone but he showed and guided them to the right path by sending them prophets and holy books. Showing the right path is the ease and a help that prophethood organization conferred Allah's servants. Deists claimed that intelligence and revelation contradict each other by saying that humans can find themselves the right path by using their own brains. Therefore, prophethood organization remains irrelevant. Nevertheless, in deism there is an unshakable understanding that God does not intervene in the realm after creating the universe and man. They brought the understanding of the natural religion against the revealed religion. Deists have rejected concepts such as prophecy, holy book and miracle in divine religions. The refusal of the prophethood by deists, which is the most important institution by theist religions, is the very big problem to religions and religious people. That is why, these two topics have been taken and analyzed in our study. In addition, the groups that reject prophethood in the realm of Islam is also analyzed in this thesis. In this thesis it has been reached that intelligence and revelation complement each other and that neither intelligence nor revelation is enough on its own to find the truth. It is stated in this thesis that while the intelligence given by Allah is enough to distinguish and figure out many right and wrong, it is not enough to comprehend many truths so revelation and prophethood is necessary. Religions, prophethood and revelation is greatly important for humankind to find the true path. Keywords: Kalam, Deism, Prophethood, Prophet, Mind, Revelation
