Özet (EN)

The aim of this work, is to examine of structural properties and the synthesis of dextrin-based polyurethanes which can be used in biomedical applications. In the study, it was also aimed to use the synthesized polymers in different biomedical applications In the work, firstly, the biocompatible polyurethane structures were synthesised from 4,4'-diisocyanatocyclohexyl methane and polyethylene glycol 200 with lineer dextrin and cyclodextrin as crosslinker units, by solution polymerization technique. Synthesized polyurethanes were examined FTIR, TGA, DTA, DSC and SEM techniques in terms of structure. They have also used an amperometric dopamine sensor, biocompatible transparent coating materials and Ciprofloxacin release system. The polyurethane-modified Pt electrodes were formed by dropping the synthesized cyclodexrin based polyurethane solution on the bare Pt electrode surface. The prepared electrodes were used for selective and sensitive determination of dopamine in the presence of the electroactive and non-electroactive interferants. in the range of 0.5 - 5.0 mmol / L dopamine concentration, The modified electrode showed with linear and high selective response for dopamine. The R2 value was found to be 0.9805. In other biomedical application, the linear dextrin-based polyurethanes as transparent biosuitable films showed approximately 85% optic transparancy. Cyclodexrin based polyurethanes as antibacterial films, succesfuly used for controlled ciprofloxacin release system. In antibacterial tests, zone diameters of polyurethane films were recorded as 27.3 ± 4.16 and 28.4 ± 4.00 mm for E. coli and B. subtilis bacterial species, respectively.
